FUNERAL NOTICE

Anthony William (Tony) LISTER

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday 9th December, aged 69 years.

A beloved and devoted husband of 45 years to Fiona, the greatest dad to Kate, Jennifer and Richard, proud grandad of Sophia and Georgia and esteemed father in law to Andy and Claire. Adored brother of Sheila and Helen and uncle to his nieces and nephew. A trusted and loyal friend to many and remembered by anyone who met him.

The provider. The fixer of problems. The joker. The confidant. The sailor, golfer, bird watcher and volunteer. A true gentleman. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for his family and friends – the lessons he has taught us will live on forever.

Please meet at Whitley Bay Crematorium at 1.30pm on Friday 5th January 2024 for a celebration of Tony’s life.
