Our family has a long proud, history serving the community of North Shields, Cullercoats, Tynemouth, Whitley Bay, Wallsend and Newcastle upon Tyne since 1790.
We are a compassionate and experienced funeral care specialist, offering genuine support, choice and value, we’ll advise, guide, and inspire you to create the perfect arrangement.
We serve all faiths and cultures, and offer many types of funeral. Whether you choose a traditional or natural burial, cremation or repatriation, we offer an extensive collection of caskets and urns, flower arrangements, hearses and limousines. We will curate hospitality to your wishes, whether that’s a tea at home, or dinner at a favourite restaurant, taking care of every detail to create a unique commemoration and celebration of life.

HISTORY

It was in 1790, when the founder of the business, John Turnbull, began work as a cabinetmaker and undertaker on the quayside at North Shields.
