Anne Elizabeth Mary WALTON
(née Flisher) Walton Anne Elizabeth Mary (née Flisher), born in Whitley Bay on 11th September 1926 and died in Whitley Bay on 19th October 2025.
The family of Anne Elizabeth Mary Walton of Tynemouth is saddened to announce her death on October 19th 2025, at the age of 99 years. Anne was predeceased by her husband Rae in 2015. She will be missed by her son Miles (Louise), daughter Clare (Allan), grandchildren Jack, Rachel, HeatherEllen and Conor and great-grandson Leo.
Anne graduated in Dentistry in 1952 from King’s College, Durham (later becoming Newcastle University). For many years, she was a dentist at the North Shields Albion Road Dental Clinic. Anne had an unwavering Catholic faith and volunteered as a Special Minister for many years.
Thank you to the wonderful staff at Eothen Home, Whitley Bay, for their excellent care over the last two years.
Funeral service at Our Lady and St Oswin’s Church, Tynemouth, on Wednesday 5th November at 10.30am, followed by a private committal at Tynemouth Crematorium
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Together Against Cancer and the RNLI. A collection box will be available at the service.
